Mestrado em Engenharia Elétrica
The school year is divided into two semesters. The first one is from March to July and the second from August to December. For this reason, the Graduate Program in EE admissions occurs with open calls before the beginning of the semester according to the current notice. Occasionally, if there are unfilled
spots, there is a call for applications for remaining vacancies for regular students only, starting in April.

Doutorado em Engenharia Elétrica
The school year is divided into two semesters. The first one is from March to July and the second from August to December. As far as the applying process is concerned, the Program accepts continuous flow admission, according to the current notice.

The Graduate Program of EE (PPGEE) at UFES does not offer a doctorate course for Special mode.
Pós-doutorado
O PPGEE/UFES recebe candidaturas para estágio pós-doutoral em regime de fluxo contínuo, dentro do limite de vagas previsto em edital. O estágio tem por finalidade atrair, integrar e fixar doutores para o desenvolvimento de projetos de pesquisa ou de inovação tecnológica, com ou sem bolsa. O candidato deve escolher uma das quatro linhas de pesquisa do Programa: Processamento de Energia e Sistemas Elétricos; Robótica, Controle e Automação; Engenharia Biomédica e Processamento de Sinais; ou Telecomunicações e Tecnologia da Informação.
Conforme a Resolução nº 18/2021 do CEPE/UFES, o estágio dura no mínimo três meses e no máximo cinco anos. Estágios com mais de 12 meses precisam ter a autorização renovada a cada ano, mediante avaliação de desempenho. O estágio não gera vínculo empregatício com a UFES.
A candidatura exige um supervisor, que deve ser docente permanente do Programa. O candidato é classificado pelo seu índice de produtividade, calculado a partir de artigos em periódicos e de patentes, e pela avaliação do mérito do plano de trabalho. A inscrição é feita por e-mail, com o envio da documentação exigida em edital, entre ela o plano de trabalho, a carta de aceite do supervisor e o currículo Lattes.

Aluno especial
Master for Special Modality
The PPGEE offers vacancies for Special students, exclusively for the Master's course, for candidates with a degree in Electrical Engineering and related areas, defined by the Program's Academic Board. However, the undergraduate degree must be a Bachelor's Degree or a Full Degree. Master's students are admitted in the Special mode only in the first semester of each year.
Doctorate for Special Modality
The PPGEE does not have a Doctorate course in the Special modality.
