Summary: The use of hydroelectric plants received large investments and expanded significantly.
tively throughout the national territory. Currently, it is the main source of generation of energy in Brazil, however, current environmental issues and the search for energy sources renewable sources, compatible with low carbon technologies, highlight the advantages to produce energy from hydroelectric plants. In the search for clean energy generation Based on the power of water, small water potentials are still little used. Considering this resource is widely available in different regions, mainly in regions between valleys and mountains, this work proposes and implements a modular system and autonomous that fuses the
main components that make up a generating plant hydroelectric power in a compact and modular equipment. In this way, a proposal to design a modular plant capable of serving mountainous regions with rugged reliefs and small flows, coming from river headwaters. Also presents a proposal for a system that encompasses LoRaWAN technology for control and telemetry taking advantage of current advances observed in technologies combining communication and remote activation of systems, available on IoT devices (Internet of Things or Internet of Things). The developed equipment presents itself as an alternative for generating extra income on rural properties, which can be integrated to gravity irrigation systems or separately installed and integrated into the electrical network.
