Sumario: The growing demand for sustainable and efficient energy systems has driven the development of photovoltaic generation technologies as an alternative to contemporary energy challenges. In this context, this work presents the implementation and analysis of a grid-connected photovoltaic generation system composed of a photovoltaic array, a converter Buck, and inverter interfacing with the three-phase electrical grid. For the control of the converters, the Finite Control Set Model Predictive Control (FCS-MPC) strategy is applied, aiming to regulate the system voltage levels and manage the injection of active and reactive powers into the electrical grid. The validation of the control strategies is carried out through real-time simulations using the Typhoon HIL platform, enabling high fidelity in representing the dynamic behavior of the system when compared to physical environments. The obtained results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed control strategy, ensuring stable and proper system operation under different operating conditions. It is concluded that the use of FCS-MPC combined with Software-inthe-Loop simulation constitutes a robust and efficient approach for the development and validation of grid-connected photovoltaic generation systems.
